The Duncanville North Main Street project includes pedestrian amenities, landscaping, and angled parking. The project bolstered an existing retail development with second floor residential and additional commercial investments. These investments helped to further transition the area into a mixed-use corridor and catalyst for future development.
 
The project is within walking distance of various other amenities and services including retail shopping, the Hopkins Senior Center, and the Duncanville City Hall, Community Theater, Library, and Recreation Center. The project is also adjacent to the Center Street Townhomes mixed-use project (funded through the 2005-2006 Sustainable Development Call for Projects), and the Main Station mixed-use development

The project cost of $2,388,300 was funded through public-private partnerships.
