NCTCOG - Travel Survey Reports
The North Central Texas Council of Governments has conducted travels surveys in the region to better understand how people travel in our region. This page lists our active surveys as well as reports from our previous surveys.
Active Surveys
The North Central Texas Council of Governments and the Texas Department of Transportation are conducting a survey to better understand the travel needs of our region. Your participation in the household travel survey will provide us valuable information on how residents move throughout the North Texas region each day – whether by walking, driving, taking transit, biking, or by other means. By understanding the places you travel, how you get there, and the challenges you face, we can make reliable forecasts about the future travel needs in our region.

As the North Texas region continues to grow, this study will help NCTCOG plan for future transportation projects to make getting around easier.
If you receive the postcard in your mail, please consider signing up (Únete) for the survey and help shape the future of transportation in our region. Each participating household could earn up to $100 in gift cards for your household.
The Household travel survey is set to begin in May 2025 and run through 2026. We look forward to hearing from you.
