Unified Planning Work Program
The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) for Regional Transportation Planning is developed biennially and modified as needed by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and the Regional Transportation Council as the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area.
The UPWP serves as a guide for transportation and air quality planning activities to be conducted over the course of specified fiscal years. Included in the UPWP are detailed descriptions of the transportation and air quality planning tasks and a summary of the amount and source of State and federal funds to be used for planning activities.
