We are always in need of caring volunteers!

Volunteers Roles

  • A Matter of Balance Fall Prevention Coaches – lead a series of eight classes that comprise the small-group workshop to reduce the risk of falling and improve balance, flexability, strength and a positive mind-set
 
  • Benefits Counselors – help clients understand their Medicare benefits to make decisions regarding supplement coverage, Medicare Advantage Plans, and Part D prescription drug plans 
 
  • Senior Medicare Patrol Fraud and Abuse Educators (SMP) – help educate Older Adultson ways they can protect themselves from Medicare fraud
 
  • Ombudsman – be the voice for residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities who have concerns about their quality of care. 
 
  • Taking Control of Your Health Leaders – lead a series of six small-group classes that comprise a workshop to empower older adults who live with chronic conditions, diabetes and pain to take charge of their own health.
