Fort Worth Tires Going to Super Bowl 2025

Although the Cowboys will not be taking the field as a team in Super Bowl LIX, a part of Fort Worth will. As the recipient of a Solid Waste Grant awarded to the City of Fort Worth, All American Tire Recyclers is sending crumbs from recycled tires to be used as padding in the end zone for the game in Louisiana's Superdome.
Every two years, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), allocates funds generated by landfill tipping fees to the 24 councils of governments (COGs) in the state of Texas. NCTCOG allocates a portion of the funding toward implementation grants and collection events administered by the Regional Tire Task Force.
