Tips for maximizing productivity of employees who care for older adults

Companies that implement “eldercare friendly” policies find it easier to attract and retain the best workers, increase workers’ productivity, and enhance community image. 

To help companies meet the needs of caregiving employees, the Area Agency on Aging of North Central Texas has prepared Working Caregivers: The North Central Texas Employers' Resource Book. It presents basic and comprehensive approaches to meeting the eldercare needs of employees. In addition, it presents Internet resources to benefit human resource managers, caregiving employees, and older adults for whom employees care.
