2025 - 2028 Transportation Improvement Program
Within metropolitan areas across the country, regional transportation projects are tracked through Transportation Improvement Programs. The Transportation Improvement Program, or TIP, is a staged, multi-year program of projects approved for funding by federal, state, and local sources within the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
The TIP contains projects with committed funds in fiscal years 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028. Project listings are financially constrained to available resources.
Every two years, the North Central Texas Council of Governments, in cooperation with the Texas Department of Transportation, local governments, and transportation agencies, develops a new TIP.
