How to Submit a Complaint

Take an active role in improving regional air quality by reporting idling vehicles anonymously. Complete the form below or call toll-free 1-877-NTX-IDLE (1-877-689-4353). Idling vehicle reports must be made within 30 days of sighting.

The registered owner of the reported vehicle will receive a letter stating that the vehicle was anonymously reported for idling. The letter will also provide information on local idling rules, the benefits of not idling, and availalbe funding opportunities to aid in the purchase of idle reduction technologies. 

In addition, aggregate information from the report may be shared with cities, counties, or local law enforcement agencies to help them identify areas of frequent idling.
