2020 Transportation Alternatives Call for Projects

The 2020 Transportation Alternatives (TA) Call for Projects for the North Central Texas Region is now open. Approximately $20 million in TA funds will be available to award for eligible project construction activities. General types of eligible projects under this Call include on- and off-road pedestrian and bicycle facilities, shared-use paths, and related pedestrian and bicycle safety countermeasures. Safe Routes to School (SRTS) projects include pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure that will substantially improve safety and the ability for students to walk and bicycle to K-8 schools.

2020 Awarded and Funded Projects (North Central Texas Region)

On September 10, 2020, the Regional Transportation Council approved 12 Transportation Alternatives Projects that fall within NCTCOG's Metropolitan Planning Area.
