Mental Health for Heroes Run

The Mental Health for Heroes Run is a vital fundraising effort for the Regional Police Academy, aimed at continuing the critical Science of Trauma course for all recruits.  The goal of the course is to empower recruits with the knowledge and skills to understand and manage trauma, both in the field and in their personal lives. 

Officers often encounter traumatic events that impact their mental health and effectiveness on the job.
Trauma-informed training helps prevent burnout, supports resilience, and improves community safety.
Contributions to events such as this will ensure that this life-changing program remains available to every recruit, building stronger, more prepared officers for our communities.
