The course is approved for Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE), EMS, and Fire Commission credits (16 hours).
In this course, we discuss best practices used throughout the country as well as local incident management policy and procedures.
Objectives
The objective of this course is to initiate a common, coordinated response to traffic incidents that will build partnerships, enhance safety for emergency personnel, reduce upstream traffic accidents, improve the efficiency of the transportation system and improve air quality in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
Cost
Free for all police, fire TxDOT, EMS, media, towing, CDA, and other public sector agencies in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise counties.
$225 for all private consultants and police, fire, TxDOT, EMS, media, towing, CDA, and other public sector agencies outside Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise counties. Participants will be contacted for payment.
