Weatherford - US 180

The US 180 (Northern Loop) project is a joint venture between the City of Weatherford and NCTCOG. This is the first phase of a four phase long-term infrastructure improvement vision to revitalize the historic downtown area of the City of Weatherford.  The project will construct a new Northern Loop to improve traffic circulation, a roundabout at the intersection of US 180, new bicycle lanes and intersection improvements at FM 51.

This project has been awarded through the 2018 Sustainable Development Call for Projects. NCTCOG has awarded $11.5 million with a local match of $2.8 million from the City of Weatherford to construct this revitalization project.
