Irving - SH 356/Irving Blvd.

The State Highway  356/Irving Boulevard project is a joint venture between the City of Irving and NCTCOG to revitalize the commercial corridor along Irving Blvd. The project is located along Irving Blvd. and W 2nd St. between N. O’Connor Road and N. Britain Road. The project includes the intersection improvements and pedestrian amenities along the corridor. 

This project has been awarded through the 2018 Sustainable Development Call for Projects. NCTCOG has awarded $12 million with a local match of $3 million from the City of Irving to construct landscaping, pedestrian amenities, intersection improvements and retrofit the roadway for multimodal transportation options.
