Development Excellence Search Engine 
The Development Excellence Search Engine was
created in a joint effort betweenthe NCTCOG’s
Environment and Development (E&D), Research and Information Services (RIS), and Transportation Departments to provide a valuable research tool for public and private sector planners and stakeholders to access and utilize planning toos and resources.
The Development Excellence Search Engine is a repository of sustainable best practices, and planning documents from around the nation compiled to aide in sustainable development and resource management. Search engine contents include, but are not limited to:
- Comprehensive Plans
- Design Guidelines
- Form-Based Codes
- Land Use Plans and Maps
- Mixed-Use Development Codes
- NCTCOG Planning Studies
- Thoroughfare Plans
