The Regional Stormwater Management Program (RSWMP) is built upon a series of cooperative initiatives in the following areas:
Public Education efforts are supported by the Public Education Task Force to promote a unified stormwater public education message for the region, while maintaining the uniqueness of individual municipal programs
Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination efforts are supported by the Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination Task Force to explore opportunities for regional cooperation, including conducting trainings and developing educational publications
Municipal Pollution Prevention efforts are supported by the Pollution Prevention Task Force to assist local governments with preventing or reducing pollutant runoff from municipal operations including streets, highways, municipal parking lots, maintenance facilities, storage yards, and waste transfer stations
Regional Cooperative Monitoring is a program supported by Phase I MS4s to monitor stormwater during wet weather (rainfall) events and perform biomonitoring
